We tried out the Lumo Lift for a pe­riod of four weeks. It’s a sim­ple de­vice that you clip onto your bra strap, hit a but­ton and it mem­o­rises your cur­rent pos­ture. If you start to slump it vi­brates to alert you to your changed pos­ture. No.1 says: “This is a great gad­get for peo­ple who work long hours in front of a com­puter. Most of us know it’s not a good idea to slump at your desk, but it’s easy to get into bad habits as soon as you are dis­tracted. This wee gad­get gives you a sim­ple and dis­crete re­minder to sit up straight! I no­ticed a real dif­fer­ence af­ter a few days – I was far more con­scious of my pos­ture and I found as time went on the Lu­mo­lift wasn’t vi­brat­ing as of­ten so it must have been work­ing. It’s def­i­nitely worth the price tag.”
