3 Maybelline Superstay Megawatt Nail Polish in Orange Punch, £4.49
The brand’s hype: “Our Megawatt additional shades have the pigment payoff yet still hold their gel shine. Up to seven day wear*. Precision application, wide anti-flood brush. *With top coat touch ups.”
This is a seriously bright, eye-catching shade and it would look really bold and gorgeous on all skin tones. It was quite quick to dry and the shine is not bad at all.
By the end of the third day there is very minimal chipping, the colour hasn’t faded at all and there is actually still a good amount of shine too, so far, this is proving to be a pretty impressive polish.
It’s Friday and I’m still loving how bold the colour is and it’s only really the tips that are showing signs of wear. Considering this didn’t come with a top coat, the chipping is not hugely different to the L’oréal one.
Verdict: I can’t believe this is the cheapest of the bunch, the results were really good comparatively. It’s claimed to last seven days with top ups, and when you see that the chips weren’t all that bad after five days, I believe it.
