Ital­ian for ‘el­e­gant bride’, Ele­ganza Sposa is a beau­ti­ful bridal bou­tique with a rep­u­ta­tion for bring­ing Scot­tish brides some­thing unique. Best-known for its breath­tak­ing win­dow dis­plays, Ele­ganza Sposa is a bou­tique like no other with much sought-af­ter gowns sourced all the way from Italy. Walk in the grand en­trance to its flag­ship store in Burling­ton House on Glas­gow’s Bath Street, and you are trans­ported to a dif­fer­ent world where wall-to-wall gowns hang invit­ingly, just wait­ing to be tried on – and it’s not just bridal gowns, but gor­geous evening­wear too. Run by Anna Cirig­naco, Ele­ganza Sposa was first launched in 1992 af­ter she was in­spired by a trip to Italy. Now many of the bou­tique’s ex­ten­sive range of dresses are sourced from her favourite coun­try, or from tal­ented de­sign­ers around the world, in­clud­ing Suzanne Neville, Essence of Aus­tralia, Martina Liana, Tarik Ediz, Yolan Cris and Je­sus Peiro. Just a few weeks ago, the owner and her team launched an ex­clu­sive col­lab­o­ra­tion with Wil­liam Cham­bers Millinery, the event was in sup­port of Muir Maxwell Trust Its new Ele­ganza Collezioni gowns (pic­tured be­low and right) are a wel­come ad­di­tion to the spa­cious bou­tique which is al­ready the ex­clu­sive stock­ist in Scot­land for its own la­bel Ele­ganza Icon­ica. To­day, Ele­ganza Sposa in Glas­gow is one of the lead­ing bridal bou­tique re­tail­ers in Scot­land, so it’s the place to visit while plan­ning your big day.
