‘Our eyes met as we skated round the ice rink in Glasgow’

We met... On the ice rink at George Square in Glasgow in December 2005 our eyes met as we skated round – we’ve been together ever since. The proposal... Momen proposed on that same ice rink in 2013 by skating on to the ice with a sign that said “Marry Me”. I burst into tears! Biggest help... My mum is a florist and looked after the finer details, she made my hairpiece too.

Difficulties... Planning a Dubai wedding meant a lot of emails back and forth, and trusting suppliers we’d never met with deposits. The theme... We named our tables after the Seven Wonders of the World, as we had guests from all over the world attending our wedding. First dance... All of Me by John Legend Advice...
