• Arm yourself with information about the law and your rights, e.g. equal pay law and the right to flexible working. • Don’t be afraid to ask for flexible working or shared parental leave, and challenge your employer if it’s declined. • Don’t hesitate to report harassment and discrimination towards yourself or other female colleagues, though it can be scary.
