1 MAC Strobe Cream
Maureen’s skin was a little dry and sensitive, which is not unusual for this time of year. So our make-up artist applied this MAC strobe cream to hydrate the skin – it’s best to avoid harsh products in winter. This product also highlighted the skin – leaving Maureen with a nice glow.
2 MUA Ultimate Undressed Eyeshadow Palette
To flatter Maureen’s green eyes, warm brown and bronze tones were used on the eyelids. To nail this look wear darker colours on the outside of the eye and lighter colours on inner corners.
3 Rimmel London Colour Precise Eye Liner
Next, a set of false lashes were applied to really open up Maureen’s eyes. And a thick black sweep of eye liner on the upper lid added extra definition to the eyes and helped create a more dramatic look.
4 MAC Lipstick in shade Lovelorn
Because we opted to accentuate Maureen’s eyes, we opted for a more natural lip look. This MAC lipstick is the perfect shade of pink. Apply with a brush after using a lip liner around the lips.
5 Tresemme Extra Hold Hairspray
We tonged through the hair alternating directions to create texture and then add a twisted pleat along the crown. Our hairdresser opened out the pleat at either side to make it chunky and finished with spray.
6 Lee Stafford My Big Fat Backcomber
Our stylist pinned back the sides of the hair, smoothed it away from the face and held it in place with Kirbie grips at the back of the head. Using a backcombing brush, she went over the sides and made them super smooth with another spritz of hairspray.
