Even if you normally use creams on your face, winter is the time to switch to an oil as not only do they contain nutrients, they also lock moisture. Lots of people are nervous about oil-based products as they suspect it will be too greasy, but the reality is the oil your skin produces is different to the type used in face oil. Oily skin is often caused by skin being over cleansed, which in turn makes your skin rush to compensate by producing excessive amounts of oil. A good face oil, like the one pictured left, will re-establish the balance and reduce the amount of oil your skin produces. And whilst they may seem pricey, as little as two drops is enough for your full face.
