Since the Spice Girls split in 2000, Victoria has succeeded as a solo singer, launching her own fashion label and make-up collection and endorsing a number of products. In 2016, she was named Entrepreneur of the Year by respected Management Today magazine. Her various business ventures, combined with her retired footballer husband’s fortunes, and the success of their holding company Beckham Brand Holdings, have meant that the pair could be richer than the Queen in two years! The Sunday Times Rich List 2016 reported that their combined fortune rose by £40million in 2015-2016 to £280m. (The Queen’s wealth is around £340m, and rose by £10m in two years so if their financial success continues, they will overtake Her Majesty). It’s not just Victoria’s fashion empire, and David’s former football career and subsequent endorsements that are to be celebrated, as the power couple have raised four children – who are becoming successes in their own right. Eldest son Brooklyn, 17, photographed Burberry’s latest social media campaign; modelled for fashion label Pull & Bear; is the brand ambassador for the new Honor 8 smartphone; and was the face of Polish brand Reserved at 15, while model brother Romeo became the face of Burberry in 2015. Youngest Beckham boy Cruz, 11, is showing promise as an entertainer. In April, VB shared a video of him singing Twista and Faith Evans’ song Hope and in August, proud dad David shared a video of him hip-hop dancing.
