Each day, on av­er­age, your legs will take be­tween 3,000 and 4,000 steps a day. How­ever, it is rec­om­mended to take 10,000 steps a day to keep fit ac­cord­ing to a study. There are ways you can boost the strength of your leg mus­cles and re­duce the risks of os­teo­poro­sis. Run­ning is one, how­ever, this has been linked to in­juries and dam­age to joints. To avoid in­jury: make sure to warm up cor­rectly!
