‘When I was younger, none of these opportunities even existed’

No. 1 Magazine - - NEWS -

I have learned a huge amount about myself and what I am good at, but more importantly what I need to improve on, and that is an on going process. The moment I feel that I can’t develop any more is the moment I stop playing football. Above all, self-reflection is one if the most important things to do. I never imagined I would be as successful as I am. When I was younger none of the opportunities existed. But I am proud about the role I have played in developing the women’s game in this country.

Ambitions to achieve

I still have many ambitions left to achieve. In terms of football my main focus is leading Scotland to the European Championships in the Netherlands in 2017. In the future, I will see what offers I get and take it from there. I am all for take a chance on things when they arise. I will continue being happy and taking each day as it comes!
