Cop­per­fest line-up

OR­GAN­IS­ERS of a free mu­sic fes­ti­val on An­gle­sey have an­nounced this year’s line-up, with a num­ber of big names from the Welsh mu­sic scene.

Aml­wch’s Cop­per­fest started up nine years ago as a free mu­sic event and now at­tracts up to 4,000 peo­ple a year.

The Bank Hol­i­day week­end of Au­gust 28-30 will see an ex­ten­sive line-up, that in­cludes Bryn Fôn and Elin Fflur again tak­ing to the stage.

The Fri­day night opener will be head­lined by Rhys Meirion who will be joined by Trio, Sioned Terry, Cor Ten­ovus Ban­gor, Cor Meibion y Foel and So­phie Jayne.

Mean­while, lo­cal rock­ers Bad Dog and trib­ute act The Pre­tend Bea­tles will be among Satur­day night’s per­form­ers.

Also per­form­ing that day/night w will be Yws Gwynedd, P Pretty Ugly, T The Welsh W Whis­perer, Con­nah Evans, An­thony Wright, Dale Roberts, Cal­fari and Traed Moch Môn.

Bryn Fon a’r Band, Elin Fflur and Dafydd Iwan a’r Band will be among the huge names on stage dur­ing the Sun­day night fi­nale, joined by Swnami, Y Can­de­las, John ac Alun and Wil Tan.
