ORGANISERS of a free music festival on Anglesey have announced this year’s line-up, with a number of big names from the Welsh music scene.
Amlwch’s Copperfest started up nine years ago as a free music event and now attracts up to 4,000 people a year.
The Bank Holiday weekend of August 28-30 will see an extensive line-up, that includes Bryn Fôn and Elin Fflur again taking to the stage.
The Friday night opener will be headlined by Rhys Meirion who will be joined by Trio, Sioned Terry, Cor Tenovus Bangor, Cor Meibion y Foel and Sophie Jayne.
Meanwhile, local rockers Bad Dog and tribute act The Pretend Beatles will be among Saturday night’s performers.
Also performing that day/night w will be Yws Gwynedd, P Pretty Ugly, T The Welsh W Whisperer, Connah Evans, Anthony Wright, Dale Roberts, Calfari and Traed Moch Môn.
Bryn Fon a’r Band, Elin Fflur and Dafydd Iwan a’r Band will be among the huge names on stage during the Sunday night finale, joined by Swnami, Y Candelas, John ac Alun and Wil Tan.
