CHORAL EVEN­SONG: A ser­vice of Choral Even­song for Harvest will be held at Gwydir Uchaf Chapel, on Sun­day Sept 27 at 3pm. us­ing the Book of Com­mon Prayer. The Rev Neil Fair­lamb, Rec­tor of Beau­maris, will lead the ser­vice, with mu­sic pro­vided by Can­ta­mus. The chapel’s plain stone ex­te­rior con­ceals a richly dec­o­rated, colour­ful in­te­rior of carved wood with a rare and orig­i­nal painted ceil­ing. GUIDED WALK: Free guided walk. Start 2pm, Sun­day Sept 27 from the LLan­r­wst Leisure Cen­tre main gate car park. Ex­pected du­ra­tion 2hrs 30mins. All weather walk­ing kit is ad­vised for open coun­ty­side and wood­land with some steep sec­tions. Dogs on leashes welcome but own­ers should bear in mind that there are lad­der stiles. Pho­tog­ra­phers will ap­pre­ci­ate the tum­bling streams, gorges and panoramic views of the Eryri Range. This walk is a com­mu­nity based Know Your Lo­cal Walks pro­ject. LLAN­R­WST AND DIS­TRICT MALE VOICE CHOIR: The choir con­tin­ues to meet Sun­days 7.30pm in the Church Rooms, Watling Street.
