Builder kits out young foot­ball team

Scor­ing goals won’t be the only thing that im­presses sup­port­ers of Roade Ju­niors un­der-nines foot­ball team when the play­ers step on to the pitch in new kit fit for the premier­ship, cour­tesy of house builder Tay­lor Wim­pey Mid­lands.

Af­ter hear­ing that their old kit was in dan­ger of rel­e­ga­tion, Tay­lor Wim­pey, which is build­ing new homes at its Grafton Gate devel­op­ment in Roade, stepped in with a do­na­tion of £400.

Kevin Parfitt, from Roade Ju­niors, said: “We’d like to say a huge thanks to Tay­lor Wim­pey Mid­lands for their gen­er­ous do­na­tion.”

Anne Wal­lace, sales and mar­ket­ing di­rec­tor for Tay­lor Wim­pey Mid­lands, added: “When we heard about the team need­ing new kit we were only too happy to help.”

Grafton Gate of­fers a col­lec­tion of one and two-bed­roomed apart­ments and three and four-bed­roomed semi-and de­tached homes, start­ing at just £121,995. Those with a house to sell are in­vited to take ad­van­tage a part ex­change scheme, which is avail­able on the larger prop­er­ties.
