Four deny mur­der­ing Bul­well dad

FOUR young men have pleaded not guilty to the mur­der of Lee Mar­shall, 38, in Bul­well on June 29.

They ap­peared at Nottingham Crown Court, where their trial is due to be­gin on Jan­uary 14. It is ex­pected to last for six weeks.

Two charged are Adam Ward, of Wat­ford Road, As­p­ley, and Calvin Turner, of Com­mer­cial Road, Bul­well. Both are aged 18.

The oth­ers are 16 and too young to be named in pub­lic. A fifth teenager will ap­pear later.

High Court Judge Ni­cholas Laven­der was told that a bail ap­pli­ca­tion may be made later for one of the teenagers.

Father-of-two Mr Mar­shall lived in Com­mer­cial Road, Bul­well. He was pro­nounced dead at the Queen’s Med­i­cal Cen­tre.
