Two perfect days

Nottingham Post - - OPINION -

Today will be a perfect day to pass the hours by For every star there ever was is lighting up our sky; The sun will stir from golden clouds where evening spirits lie And a gentle zephyr breeze will come upon the scene to sigh. Yet if tomorrow morn shall come in tattered storm-rent guise And ice cold blasts of chilling winds against the land do rise; When rain-clouds from the mountains are the wettest ever seen Then still give thanks, for this perfect day will change the land to green.
