Outlet will let it snow to
REAL falling snow will cover 500 square metres of winter woodland as part of East Midlands Designer Outlet’s Christmas Extravaganza.
Designed by Hollywood set producers, the festive pop-up will be opened by Father Christmas and his trusty reindeer with a light switch-on taking place at 7pm on Thursday, November 15.
Festivities start at Mcarthurglen Designer Outlet East Midlands from 4pm, with Santa walking around the Winter Wonderland handing out sweet treats to children, with his reindeer stabled near the Lindt shop and the new Joules store.
At 6pm, the countdown to the switch-on begins with Peak FM, live music from Kris James and local band Four of Diamonds.
Santa’s Grotto will also be making a
return to the centre, hosting Father Christmas every day from December 1-24, 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
Free for all, the kids will leave with a chocolate treat and a framed photo to cherish the moment they met Father Christmas.
Centre manager Paul Tyler says: “Christmas at Mcarthurglen Designer Outlet East Midlands is a truly wonderful time of year. We’re so excited to bring the essence of Christmas to our loyal customers with our winter woodland, and see our centre lit up as the lights are turned on.”
On top of all the festive fun, shoppers can make the most of promotions, with high street, premium and designer brands offering savings of up to 60 percent.
