Tough test for leaders City

Nottingham Post - - SPORT -

SOUTHWELL City, leaders of the Premier Division of the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, visit Stapleford Town, who have lost only once this season, today.

Stapleford have played at least three fewer matches than the four teams above them and, if they win all their games in hand, will go top of the table.

Second-place Cotgrave will look to capitalise on any slip-up by Southwell as they welcome Wollaton to Woodview, while thirdplace Keyworth United will be trying to make it seven league wins on the spin when they visit Magdala Amateurs.

Calverton Miners Welfare welcome Gedling Southbank and Bingham make the short trip to Aslockton and Orston.

FC Cavaliers host Attenborough and Radcliffe Olympic welcome AFC Dunkirk.

In Division One, Ravenshead travel to Wollaton Reserves with a number of absentees. Leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers entertain Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves. Bridgford United and Southwell City Reserves are trying to keep pace with Woodthorpe. They visit Ruddington Village and host Beeston respectively.

In Division Two, Ravenshead Reserves travel to Keyworth Development. AFC Top Valley will look to make it three league wins on the trot as they head to Gedling Southbank Reserves.

Leaders Stapleford Town Reserves will try to bounce back from only their second defeat of the season last weekend as they travel to Elston United.
