Hey Lauren! How do you like to workout?
I go to the gym about four times a week. I do a lot of weight-based stuff. Resistance band work is my favourite – it really targets specific areas.
Amazing! How do you motivate yourself to exercise?
It’s just my routine. I am so used to it that, to me, it’s just like an hour to switch off.
Do you follow any fitness Instagram pages?
I follow Bradley Simmonds (@bradleysimmonds). He’s got good videos and exercise inspiration for when I’m not with my trainer.
Nice! Can you share any fitness hacks?
If you can walk somewhere instead of driving, then do that. You know what, it’s just diet. You have to be realistic. You can go to the gym every single day, but if your diet is rubbish you’re gonna see zero results.
What’s your guilty food pleasure?
I have a sweet tooth. The less I train, the more I crave chocolate.
I make my own chocolate things with cacao powder, coconut, agave syrup and dates. On Sundays I don’t give a s**t – I just eat what I want.
When do you feel most body confident?
When I’ve come out of the gym. That’s why I think more people should do it. It gives you such a high.
