The star could have ‘body dysmorphia’ according to top cosmetic surgeon

She’s changed her appearance drastically over the years, and Katie Price is showing no signs of stopping as she reveals her most dramatic look to date.

The mother-of-five has stepped out looking barely recognisable, sporting what looks like fuller cheeks, cat eyes and tighter skin.

Now a top surgeon has likened Katie’s penchant for surgery to ‘body dysmorphia’.

Dr Munir Somji said, ‘In my opinion, Katie Price has had Botox on her forehead, cheek fillers, lip fillers and thread lifts to tighten the jawline.’

The concerned leading cosmetic surgeon and CMO of Dr Medispa added, ‘I believe the main issue Katie has is body image dysmorphia. She is not happy with the way she looks and, as a result, it may be that no amount of operations will ever fully satisfy her.’

The concerns for her apparent ‘body dysmorphia’ could be down to a number of issues in her tumultuous life.

Katie has been through hell since discovering her third husband Kieran Hayler cheated on her once again.

She’s also previously spoken about being a victim of sexual abuse, having been assaulted as a child and then raped as a young woman.

She hinted that her career in glamour modelling was a

coping mechanism for these traumas. Speaking on the new episode of John Bishop: In Conversation With... the 39-year-old speculated whether her initial interest in the industry was a type of ‘rebellion’ against the men who abused her – as if to say, ‘You can look at me, but you can’t have me.’ She said to John, ‘Sometimes I think, did I do the glamour modelling – I don’t know if this is true, but this is what I say – as a sign of yeah, men, you can look at me but you can’t have me.

‘As if it’s a rebellious...’ she trailed off, before adding, ‘But I don’t know.’ Here’s hoping Katie learns to love herself soon...
