Want to get flexy like Lady Gaga? Ben Davie, personal trainer and founder of Youtube channel Move With Ben, reveals a five-move, high-intensity workout that takes 20 minutes and increases movement, flexibility and fluidity.
Move 1: Kick sits
Start on all fours. Kick your right leg through and simultaneously lift your left arm as if you were elbowing someone behind you. Repeat on the other side.
Move 2: Hamstring sit-ups
Lie on your back, legs out straight. Crunch up, then extend your arms, reaching for your toes. Great for abs and developing flexibility in your hamstrings and the back of the body.
Move 3: crab reach behind
From the crab position, sink your hips towards floor. Drive up, squeezing your bum. Try with one arm behind your head, then the other.
Move 4: Frog Folds
From a standing position, place your hands together and sit into a squat, then place your hands on the floor and straighten your legs. Great for increasing movement in the hips.
Move 5: pouncers
From a push-up position, pounce back. It stretches the side of the back, opens out the chest and gives legs a blast!
