Yourlife Trio pass tough maths test
WOODLANDS Academy recently entered a group of maths students into the 2015 United Kingdom Mathematics Trust Senior Challenge.
Ten students from West Coventry Sixth Form were awarded bronze and silver certificates and despite the challenge being designed for A-level mathematicians, eight Year 11 Woodlands students volunteered to brave the paper to test their skills.
A spokesperson for the school said: “We were delighted to hear that three Year 11 students were awarded bronze certificates, which is fantastic as the compe- tition is aimed at students one or two years further on in their maths studies.”
The Year 11 bronze certificate winners are James Ashmore, Sher Singh Lulilidia and Max Jefferson.
