Nuneaton Telegraph - - FRONT PAGE -

“The police now know and they have got a full description.”

Warwickshire Police is investigating the incident and Mr Slater would like to urge anyone who has any information to let the police know or contact the rugby club.

He said: “I am sure the police will do their best to try and find them.

“Frustratingly, they said if they knew at the time they could have had search teams out trying to catch them but they could be anywhere by now. They are not exactly quiet machines, they are really noisy, they must have woken a few people up.”

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to reports of a burglary that took place on Wednesday, May 17, at at 3.30am at a premises on Smarts Road in Bedworth. An amount of machinery was taken by two unknown male offenders.”

Anybody who witnessed the incident, or who may have been in the area at the time and saw any suspicious activity, is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 170 of May 17.
