RESIDENTS have been given their say on the borough’s newest primary school.
The council agreed last year to build a new £7.5m school on the site of the former Grange School, on Rochdale Road, in the town centre.
The sponsored academy, which will have 630 pupils, is expected to open its doors in September 2016 subject to planning permission.
A special consultation drop-in was held to allow residents to ask any questions about the plans.
