TV chef serves up a treat for shoppers
SHOPPERS were shown how to use up their leftovers by a celebrity TV chef.
Richard Fox, the former chef presenter on BBC1’s Regional Look North, cooked up a storm at the Love Food Hate Waste roadshow at Tommyfield market.
He was on hand to show passers-by how to make tasty meals without breaking the bank.
Richard said: “The demonstration allowed me to come face-to-face with the culinarychallenged, the pennystrapped, or those interested in the idea of cooking for themselves or entertaining loved ones with nothing more than a bag of flour, some tired old veg and a few leftovers.”
Richard will be holding workshops across the region. He will be at Ashton’s Farmers’ Market on Sunday, March 29.
