Thanks to the craft beer movement, there are now so many more options available that actually deliver what they promise. We like Nanny State from Brewdog, the Scottishcraft-brewer-turned-international-brand’s version, packing in six varieties of hops (Amarillo, Simcoe, Centennial, Cascade, Ahtanum and Columbus) along with no fewer than eight speciality malts, it delivers big flavours at just 0.5% ABV. £7.50/6 x 330ml, Or, if you’re not ready to go quite that low, at 2.7% ABV, Adnam’s Sole Star offers a great alternative to higher-proof brews. Full-flavoured with light floral aroma and caramel notes, this proves that there’s no need to miss out. £9.99/8 x 500ml,
