Fear factors

Onboard Hospitality - - Global Perspective -

Research from National Geographic has revealed that over 21 million Brits are now more afraid of flying compared to just 10 years ago. The snowflake generation fear flying the most, with 51% scared for their safety when flying; while 38% of Brits admit news stories around aviation disasters fuel their fear.

81% worry most about engine failure and plane crashes when flying, with nervousness about pilot inexperience also feeding their anxiety.
