Edge Hill on awards shortlist
EDGE Hill has been shortlisted for the Best University Employability Strategy award at the TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2017.
The winners of what is the largest early careers recruitment awards in Europe will be announced at a ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House hotel on March 30. Organisers counted nearly 100,000 individual votes from undergraduates, apprentices and school-leavers.
This award celebrates the achievements being made by higher education institutions to ensure their undergraduates are best equipped to achieve their potential when searching and applying for graduate roles and transitioning to employment.
Jacqui Howe, head of careers at Edge Hill, said: “I’m delighted the university has been shortlisted for this prestigious award, it is incredibly important recognition of the work the careers team, departmental colleagues and all in the university do to ensure graduates achieve success in their careers.”
