Easter fun on offer for your little rangers
CHILDREN can have fantastic fun for free at Junior Rangers Club events organised by West Lancashire Borough Council’s Parks and Countryside Ranger Service.
The fun starts on Sunday, April 2 when children can join the council’s rangers for themed crafts and activities at the Easter Egg Bands event at Coronation Park, Ormskirk. Meeting point is the park’s bowling pavilion at 2pm.
The next event is the Junior Rangers Easter Springwatch event at Beacon Country Park, Up Holland, on Tuesday, April 4. Youngsters can enjoy themed crafts and activities to take a closer look at the park’s wildlife and learn more about the seasonal changes and challenges facing our native plants and animals.
Meeting point is the park’s visitor centre at 2pm.
More craft activities take place at the Junior Rangers Easter event at Stanley Coronation Park, Skelmersdale, on Monday, April 10, starting from 2pm at the bowling pavilion.
A similar event takes place at Richmond Park, Burscough, on Wednesday, April 12, starting from the park’s bowling pavilion.
The Junior Rangers can also enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday, April 11, at Beacon Country Park, starting from the visitor centre.
