Group are wild at art

THE lat­est ex­hi­bi­tion has been un­veiled at WWT Martin Mere Wet­land Cen­tre in Burscough by the Sefton Art Group: Wildlife.

Roy Mun­day from the group said: “We are de­lighted to be ex­hibit­ing at Martin Mere in Oc­to­ber.

“The Sefton Art Group is one of the big­gest art groups in the North West that meets weekly to en­gage in art.

“We welcome any­one who is think­ing of tak­ing up art and would like to come along and visit one of our sev­eral weekly classes to find out more.

“As well as of­fer­ing art classes to all abil­i­ties we en­cour­age mem­bers to ex­hibit their work.”

Roy added: “This ex­hi­bi­tion is the cul­mi­na­tion of months of prepara­tory work.

“Mem­bers vis­ited Martin Mere in May us­ing sketches, draw­ing and pho­to­graphs.

“These will have been worked up into fin­ished art­work which visitors can en­joy.”

The ex­hi­bi­tion is in the main foyer and a per­cent­age of all sales comes straight to Martin Mere.
