AN ALLEGED mem­ber of a far-right ter­ror group ad­mit­ted plot­ting to murder West Lan­cashire MP Rosie Cooper.

Jack Ren­shaw bought a 19in ma­chete and had re­searched “cut­ting the jugu­lar” on­line.

On the open­ing day of his trial in Lon­don, Ren­shaw pleaded guilty to pre­par­ing acts of ter­ror­ism as well as mak­ing a threat to kill po­lice of­fi­cer Vic­to­ria Hen­der­son.

He is on trial with five other men, all from Cheshire and Mersey­side, ac­cused of be­ing mem­bers of the banned far-right group Na­tional Ac­tion.
