A UNIQUE event will be staged at the West Lan­cashire Col­lege Cam­pus in Skelmers­dale to­day (June 14) as the art & de­sign and per­form­ing arts de­part­ments com­bine to pro­vide an evening of cre­ativ­ity, en­ter­tain­ment and cul­ture – and all are in­vited.

The art de­part­ment’s cre­ative arts ex­hi­bi­tion will be open free to the pub­lic and pro­vides an op­por­tu­nity to see out­stand­ing art­works cre­ated by col­lege stu­dents in a wide range of medi­ums in­clud­ing pho­tog­ra­phy, fash­ion, graph­ics, fine art, ar­chi­tec­ture, il­lus­tra­tion and print­mak­ing.

It is open 5-7pm and visi­tors can then make their way to the Hope The­atre to see the mu­si­cal The Ad­dams Fam­ily Young@Part, per­formed by the col­lege’s award­ing-win­ning per­form­ing Arts stu­dents.

Tick­ets for the show are £5 – on­line from www.seaty.­cpa us­ing the pass­word ‘west­lancs,’ or on the door on the evening, if avail­able.

The cre­ative arts ex­hi­bi­tion is also open free to the pub­lic 10am-4pm on week­days from to­mor­row, Fri­day, June 15 to Tues­day, June 19, and The Ad­dams Fam­ily Young@Part will be per­formed to­mor­row at 7pm.
