Bike thefts arrests

THREE youths were arrested after bikes were stolen from teenagers in Ormskirk’s Coronation Park.

The mountain bikes were stolen from a group of friends, aged 14, in broad daylight in the afternoon of Tuesday, June 30, and left the victims shaken and scared to go out.

Police have since carried out CCTV inquiries and last week arrested the three youths from Merseyside.

All three were released on bail with conditions including a ban on entering West Lancashire.
