Chance to give recog­ni­tion to NHS Trust hero at awards

DO YOU know a mem­ber of staff work­ing at our hos­pi­tals or in one of our ser­vices who de­serves spe­cial recog­ni­tion?

Pa­tients and their fam­i­lies are be­ing in­vited to nom­i­nate a mem­ber of staff or team from South­port and Orm­skirk Hos­pi­tal NHS Trust as this year’s Peo­ple’s Health Hero in the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s 12th an­nual Time to Shine staff awards.

Chief ex­ec­u­tive Tr­ishArm­strong-Childs said: “Ev­ery­one has worked tire­lessly in very chal­leng­ing cir­cum­stances this year and I know our com­mu­nity will want to thank them all.

“But I also know there will be pa­tients who re­mem­ber the care, kind­ness or pro­fes­sion­al­ism of a mem­ber of staff. This is your op­por­tu­nity to recog­nise them.”

Nom­i­na­tions for the Peo­ple’s Health Hero Award are open un­til mid­night on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 6.

Any mem­ber of staff or team in any role is el­i­gi­ble for a nom­i­na­tion pro­vid­ing they have worked South­port Hos­pi­tal, Orm­skirk Hos­pi­tal or other ser­vices the trust pro­vides over the past 12 months.

Nom­i­na­tions should be made in writ­ing to the chief ex­ec­u­tive at: South­port and Orm­skirk Hos­pi­tal NHS Trust, Town Lane, Kew, South­port, PR8 6PN.

The Peo­ple’s Health Hero Award will be pre­sented in Novem­ber with other awards selected from nom­i­na­tions made by trust staff.
