Hunt for car tyre slashing vandals
Vandals caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage after slashing the tyres of more than ten cars in a Paisley street.
Police are hunting the yobs who damaged the row of parked cars in Rowan Gate on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
Officers say at least one tyre from ten cars in the street was slashed during the senseless spree.
Sergeant Allan O’Hare, who is based at Mill Street Police office, appealed for information to help catch the louts involved.
He said: “On both Tuesday and Wednesday night, around ten cars each had one tyre slashed.
“I would urge anyone who owns a car in that area to check their vehicles to see if they have been damaged.
“If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious I would ask them to get in contact on 101.”
