Culture group goes to university
Paisley’s university is hosting a Creative Renfrewshire Network masterclass.
CRN is a networking group representing arts and culture throughout Renfrewshire.
It says it is dedicated to celebrating and building on the cultural resources of Renfrewshire with a local, national and international outlook.
The event at UWS is part of the network’s drive to review, refresh and revitalise itself to maximise the positive impact it has on culture in Renfrewshire.
The committee and members recently undertook visits to other cultural networks in cities in Scotland and across the UK to find out what might be learned.
The masterclass aims to be a unique opportunity for CRN members to share learning from these recent visits and exchange knowledge on best practice.
It is also a chance to review the current structure and discuss what resourcing and support will be required to deliver on its intended programme.
