A busy year ahead for party campaigners
The SNP’s Paisley Tannahill branch are preparing for the year ahead.
This year’s annual general meeting was held in Paisley Martyrs’church hall.
The group highlighted the work of the branch over the past year.
They reported a steady rise in membership over the past few years with the branch now the largest in Renfrewshire.
Office bearers for the coming year were selected unanimously by members.
Last year’s youth officer, Bruce MacFarlane, was promoted to the post of vice convener.
This allowed Sean Markie to fill the post of youth officer and Brian Lawson will remain on the executive.
Branch convenor Margaret Dymond said: “This has been a busy year for Paisley Tannahill SNP branch and ,despite there being no elections on the horizon, we are planning for another active year of campaigning.
“Our members turned up in good numbers and it was great to get their endorsement for the team who will lead in the coming year.”
