Jet hub yob jailed
A yob who failed to comply with a court order imposed on him for kicking off at Glasgow Airport has been jailed.
David Irvine, 28, had been ordered to carry out 60 hours of community service after admitting causing a disturbance at the transport hub on February 9.
However, he was back at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday after it emerged he was defying the order and not completing the work.
Sheriff Colin Pettigrew ordered Irvine, of Springbank Road, Shortroods, to spend next two months behind bars as the Community Payback Order had been imposed as an alternative to custody.
