Arrest warrant issued
An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman who failed to turn up at court to hear her sentence.
Dorothy Cameron, 48, was ordered to appear in person at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday but was a no show, leading Sheriff David Pender to order she be arrested.
Cameron, of Orr Street, Paisley, had previously admitted breaching bail conditions banning her from contacting or approaching another female and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm to others there on May 17 by shouting, swearing and acting aggressively.
The case against her had been continued to allow social workers to compile background reports on her and she was due to be sentenced to yesterday.
When the case was called in court her defence agent Charlie McCusker was unable to provide an explanation for her non-appearance.
