A long- established training company is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is asking its former apprentices to get in touch.

Paisley & Johnstone Training Group Limited has been delivering Engineering Apprenticeships since 1967, and that makes its almost certainly the oldest training provider in Scotland.

And to mark its half-century, bosses will be holding a celebration on Wednesday, December 6.

A spokesman said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who completed an apprenticeship with P&J Training in the past – in particular the original class of 1967 would be of special interest to us in tracking down.”

He added: “More than 1,000 apprentices have gained their qualification through P&J Training over the years.

“We are very proud to say that many of our apprentices of the past have gone on to start their own companies or now hold management positions, and here in 2017 these companies and managers are now sending their apprentices to P&J.”

If you are a former apprentice and would like to get in touch with P&J, then call 01505 323026.
