Man in breach of bail order
A man was nabbed in a car taken without its owner’s permission.
Harry Roberts, 22, was a passenger in the Nissan Qashqai when it was stopped by police.
He got in despite warnings to keep out of trouble.
At Paisley Sheriff Court, Roberts admitted being in the car when it was driven off.
Sheriff Susan Sinclair studied his background after social workers field a report.
She said: “It is one of the worst reports I have read in a long time and, believe me, I’ve read a lot.”
Roberts also pleaded guilty to contacting a woman after being ordered to leave her alone.
He was in the motor in Paisley’s Barterholm Road on October 25 – although he was already on bail.
R o b e r t s b re a c h e d special conditions of bail which forbade him from approaching Rachel Morrow on September 1.
He had been told to keep away from her and stay out of Craigbog Avenue, Johnstone.
Sheriff Sinclair deferred sentence to call alongside other matters.
Roberts, of High Street, Johnstone, will learn his fate on February 6.
