Leader book worth a look

Paisley Daily Express - - Ladies Get In The Swing For Charity -

Leadership in the modern world is the subject of a new book by a Paisley academic.

Christian Harrison’s Leadership Theory and Research: A Critical Approach to New and Existing Paradigms reveals that the subject research has shown that it is one of the least understood phenomena on earth.

This book’s aim is to provide a critical insight into leadership research.

Emerging models and theories of new approaches to leadership are identified and addressed in the book.

Mr Harrison, of the University of the West of Scotland’s School of Business and Enterprise, said:“I am delighted by the positive response I have already received for this publication.

“In the book I establish that leadership is an under-developed phenomenon, for which no unified theory currently exists. Previous leadership books have traditionally focused narrowly on a limited set of elements by highlighting the leader while overlooking relevant elements of leadership.

“This book takes a holistic view of the phenomenon.”
