Van and tools are stolen

Cops are hunting a thief who nicked a van and tools from outside a home in Erskine.

The Ford Transit was taken from outside a home in Allison Avenue in Erskine overnight between Thursday and Friday.

It is understood the van, which was locked and secure, contained a four figure sum worth of tools when it was taken.

A Po l i c e S c o t l a n d spokesman appealed for witnesses.

He said: “If you saw anything suspicious us at all or you seen this 61 plate van then I would ask you to get in touch. It was low on fuel when it was taken so perhaps you saw it at a petrol station.”
