Have your say on how our cops work
Buddies are being encouraged to have their say on Police Scotland’s plans for the year ahead.
The annual policing plan for 2018/19 will outline priorities for policing and explain how the force will deliver them over the next 12 months.
Police chiefs will put the proposals before the Scottish Government in April, and they will also be made available for the public to see online.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman is calling on members of the Renfrewshire public to take part in a consultation process.
She said: “Our operational priorities are shaped by listening to what the public and communities have to tell us via our Your View Counts survey, as well as our own analysis of the risks and emerging threats likely to impact on Scotland’s communities.
“We are keen to engage with the public and partners as we develop the annual plan, therefore the survey has seven questions regarding our planned activities for the 2018/19 period. This includes extracts taken from the draft plan and we are keen to capture feedback to help us develop the final version.”
