There are just a few weeks to go till the Scot­tish Al­ter­na­tive Mu­sic Awards Pais­ley Takeover.

Run­ning on March 2 and 3, mu­sic fans are in for a treat as a host of acts de­scend on the town for a live mu­sic ex­trav­a­ganza.

Head­lin­ing the Fri­day night are top trio Out Lines, fol­low­ing a sold-out set for Celtic Con­nec­tions and a UK tour with Mog­wai.

Hav­ing re­leased their de­but al­bum Con­flats to­wards the end of 2017 amid much ac­claim, this dy­namic trio prom­ise the peo­ple of Pais­ley a storm­ing live set.

Record store Feel the Groove, in Causey­side Street, will host an in­ti­mate live ses­sion by Emme Woods.

Satur­day af­ter­noon will see sem­i­nars from mu­sic in­dus­try veter­ans, such as broad­caster Jim Gel­latly and for­mer Sim­ple Minds man­ager Bruce Find­lay.

Pais­ley’s own The Ve­gan Leather will host their own mu­sic work­shop and Q&A and there will also be live sets from Siob­han Wil­son, SWAY and Satur­day head­lin­ers Pronto Mama.
