Efforts go on to find mum

-

Forensics officers with spades have been working at a house linked to the disappearance of a Paisley mum.

Patti Henry, 46, was last seen eight months ago and cops have been focussing their efforts at the Burnfoot Crescent home belonging to a close friend.

Yesterday, an officer was seen entering the garden carrying two shovels as search teams erected a second tent in the back garden.

A Paisley man is facing jail after leading police on a high-speed chase at 140mph along Scotland’s busiest motorway.

Steven Longmore, 22, was

Glenburn flat for several weeks, with sniffer dogs, specialist search teams and police photographers involved.

Investigators say they are still treating the case as a missing persons inquiry, but have not ruled out the possibility that Patti may have come to harm.

She lived in the Paisley area before she relocated to Girvan in October last year.

Patti is described as white, 5ft 10ins in height, of slim build and has shoulderlength hair, which is usually tied back.

She has a tattoo of two clouds, outlined in blue, with a red rose and green stem with the word ‘Patti’ on her left arm.

She usually wears a denim jacket.

Patti’s daughter Alannah, 18, made an emotional appeal for her return last month.

She said: “If you have any idea where my mum could be, or if you’ve seen her since she was last reported missing, please let the police know.

“And mum, if you see this, please let me know you are okay.”

If y o u h av e any information, phone police on 101.
