Tribute to Stephen

Paisley Daily Express - - Front Page -

the sister of a footie-daft Paisley teen who tragically lost his battle with cancer has been on a muddy mission to raise vital charity cash.

Devoted Nicola Roy, 24, helped collect £1,000 for cancer Research Uk as she scrambled and crawled round the Pretty Muddy 5k Race for Life in memory of much-loved younger brother stephen.

she was caked in muck, along with friends kirsty Mckay, 23, and 22-year-old Hayley gormal – who was taking part to honour her cousin Danielle Mckee, who was also cruelly taken by cancer aged just 23.

Nicola said:“I miss stephen more every day and I will never let him be forgotten. He was so special to my family and me.”

goalie stephen was just 18 when he passed away in July 2016, and his family is determined to keep his spirit alive through their fundraising efforts.
