Calls for extras for new film
Extras are needed for a new movie being shot in Shortroods.
Paisley Lion Films is calling for members of the public to take part in the production.
The work will showcase Renfrewshire’s history – including Willie Gallacher, a Red Clydeside MP born in the scheme.
A spokesman said: “We can use as many people as possible. Our aim is to fill the Beechwood Community Centre Hall as far as possible.
“There are no great dress requirements, as long as clothing is not blatantly modern.
“This is a community film, non-profit, being made with and for the local community. “Two cameras will be used. “This is our last big push, and, so far, Renfrewshire folk have been great in answering calls for help.”
Volunteers will assemble at Beechwood Community Centre, Paisley, on November 13.
Extras should gather from 5.30pm.
