Hesketh’s new supercharged Valiant SC shows hope for post-EU Britain: it’s completely designed and build by British companies. It might even be tasty enough to make Jeremy Corbyn don Union flag Y-fronts, join UKIP and plant a smacker on Farage...

Developed in conjunction with Northants supercharging demigods TTS, the SC boasts 210bhp and an elbow-popping 217lb.ft of torque. Hesketh predict it could have up to 250bhp by the time it goes on sale.

The 2100cc V-twin features the best of British, with K-Tech suspension front and rear, their own three-piece wheels and billet brake calipers. The frame and swingarm are built by GIA Engineering. Hesketh say when the bike’s available in 2018 it will cost upwards of £50k.
