A Cam­bridgeshire S1000RR rider has been jailed af­ter a se­ries of high-speed police chases. Paul Why­att, 57, used a false num­ber­plate and made off from cops on a num­ber of oc­ca­sions. Af­ter sen­tenc­ing, police re­leased a video of him pulling away from a pur­suit car show­ing 148mph. He was fi­nally recog­nised by his ruck­sack and tracked down af­ter one chase on his gen­uine plates. Why­att was sen­tenced to 30 months for dan­ger­ous driv­ing and con­spir­acy to per­vert the course of jus­tice.
