Applauding Crem efforts

Dear Editor

Perthshire Advertiser - - FRONT PAGE -

Operating since the 1960s it is so obvious that Perth’s Crematorium is in need of a revamp and that necessary equipment be upgraded and replaced.

I believe today cremations far outnumber burials, and the Garden of Remembrance is a very special place of peace, memory and reflection amidst the sounds of nature within the surrounding trees, where flowers lovingly laid for memories never die.

Thanks must go to the Crematorium staff and those who tend to the gardens for their dedication, and to those who have and continue to offer their services whilst the Crematorium Chapel is closed, offering both religious and non-religious services until the Perth facilities resume for years to come.
